Learning from Online Video Education (LOVE) Study

What is the LOVE Study?

The Learning from Online Video Education (LOVE) Study aims to better understand the role of online educational tools to improve well-being and medical adherence during the ovarian stimulation process.

What is involved?

Participants will take a short online questionnaire at enrollment. Then participants will be given a username and password for a web-portal with educational videos. It is encouraged but not required that participants watch the videos.  After the first cycle of ovarian stimulation is complete, participants will be asked to complete a second brief questionnaire. That’s it!

Participants are randomized to access different videos; the LOVE study team will analyze the data to see if the videos help improve the patient experience during the ovarian stimulation process.

Who can participate

•Women undergoing their first cycle of ovarian stimulation either for in vitro fertilization (IVF) or oocyte cryopreservation (“egg banking”).
•Participants should be between the ages of 20 and 43 at the start of the study.
•Must be the participants first ovarian stimulation cycle with injectable medication with the intent of IVF or egg banking.
     •Participants must have internet access
